Elastication at wrists, ankles, face, and waist. Double zippers and double flaps. Outer flap with adhesive tape. Integrated dissipative socks. Grey.
Tychem® 6000 F garments are made from a lightweight and durable Tychem® 6000 F fabric (<500g per garment) consisting of a proprietary barrier film laminated to a heavy duty Tyvek® substrate. They offer excellent chemical permeation resistance to an extensive range of chemicals, helping to protect personnel against numerous toxic industrial organic chemicals, highly concentrated inorganic chemicals (even under pressure), particulates, biohazards and certain chemical warfare agents.

Applications:

Tychem® 6000 F garment are typically used for a broad range of applications from chemical spill clean-up, emergency response, to military and petrochemical applications.

Tyvek® fabric production quality control monitors more than 200 data/day.

Tyvek® garments are controlled at the converter location and at DuPont.

DuPont has the experience and testing facilities to implement:

“Non-routine” testing equipment for the fabric.
Type 4 & 6 test cabin (calibrated and comparable with external institute).

DuPont is periodically audited by a notified body to check Tyvek® conformity to the relevant requirements.
