There will be three webinars in total, each covering the different aspects of protective clothing, from dressing to hazards.
The first webinar will address the donning and doffing procedure. Led by Steve Marnach, the EMEA DuPont Personal Protection Training Specialist, the session will go over putting on and removing DuPont™’s coveralls. It will specifically address the Tyvek, Tychem and Proshield range, using a live demonstration to show how to apply undergarments and fasten outerwear to gloves and boots.
The second webinar will cover the different kinds of protection available for different hazardous environments. It will explain the various dangers our clients can face in their working day, from liquids to dust and particles, gases, biological substances and germs. For each hazard, there is a specific material that is best suited for its protection, including Nitrile, Neoprene, Butyl and Butyl/Viton. Steve Marnach will address which materials will keep your clients safe for all environments.
The final webinar will talk about permeation and penetration. Many dangerous environments expose workers to harmful liquids and gases. This short webinar will explain the difference between chemical and physical processes, advising end-users on which material to use, and recommended exposure time.
Viewers can sign up and watch the webinars in real-time or save the download link and watch whenever is convenient. By the end of all three webinars, distributors will feel confident in recommending the right products to their clients, as well as understanding how to maintain and use these products effectively.
